Huawei Ascend P6 available for £330 in UK
Huawei announced its newest creation a few months ago. Now, the 4.7-inch smartphone Huawei Ascend P6 is available for the UK consumers.
At Brits to Buy, the latest flagship of the company is available for £300 with O2’s Pay As You Go. With a new two-year contract on O2, the phone is yours for free with a chosen monthly plan, but you need to pay at least 27£ each month. Carphone warehouse offers the Huawei Ascend P6 SIM free for £330, or for 0£ with a contract, paying 21£ per month.
Huawei is not among the popular brands, but if you compare the specs and prices with similar products, it is a solid choice. For less money you get more value, compared with the market leaders. Huawei Ascend P6 comes with a 4.7-inch screen with 720p resolution. It has a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor Huawei K3V2 with 2 GB of RAM. Huawei has made an incredibly thin body – the phone is just 6.18 mm thick.
In the slim body, the developers have put a 2000 mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, 8 GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot for an expansion. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6. According to the people who have tested the phone, it performs relatively well. Its main camera is described as adequate with some minor problems in low-light condition. The front shooter makes good and crisp videos. As a drawback, the Huawei Ascend P6 has some overheating and port placement problems.
Huawei hopes that the sales of its flagship device will reach 10 million units by the end of 2013. We don’t actually believe it is possible, but time will tell soon.
