The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook announced the launching of new devices in fall
This fall is promising to be amongst the most exciting and eventful seasons for the mobile world. Apple has already raised the expectations of mobile users with the promise of the company for “an army of new products this fall.” Just recently, the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook arranged a meeting with the Apple Store Leaders to discuss several key points for the company and the sells of the latest products. One of the main issues that was discussed during the meeting was the numbers of the sales of iPhone devices though the Apple Stores. There are many things that make the stores of Apple stand out. They fascinate with an extraordinary glass-decorated appearance. The stores bring great numbers for the sells of some of the most iconic devices of Apple, including the Apple MacBooks and the Apple iPads. However, only 20% of the sells of the iPhone smartphones are happening through the Apple Stores. The other percent is formed by the sells through retailers and carriers.
The new strategy of Apple aims to bring change in this trend, because the iPhone is a key product for the company that evokes users to buy other devices of Apple as well. The company is providing different strategies in order to bring awareness for the Apple Stores as a major place where iPhone can be purchased. One of the latest campaigns of Apple is the Back to School promotion that offers a $50 gift card for iPhone purchase by students. Another interesting promotion is the trade-in program that will be launched in a few weeks. It will provide benefits or discounts to users who want to purchase a new iPhone device and brings a damaged smartphone in the Apple Stores.
One of the interesting topics that came up during the meeting was the rumored strategy provided by the Apple Store Leaders to encourage their employees to sell devices other than iPhone. The company cannot do more in order to change this strategy; however it can stimulate customers to by iPhone from the stores. And that is what Apple is planning to do.
Tim Cook discussed the advantages of the iOS and its future development. The CEO of Apple announced that the company is ready to ship new models of its iconic devices Macs, iPad an iPhone in fall.
