New leak for iPad 5 reveal the schematic plans of the tablet
Not everyday we see leaks for upcoming devices in the form of schematics. New images provided by NWE reveal the schematics plans of the iPad 5. The described specs and schematics give the idea that the new model tablet will get a lot of the characteristics of the iPad mini. Believe it or not, iPad 5 will sport a thinner body, less tall and wide compared to the current iPad models. According to the images, iPad 5 will have a panel that is ¾ the size in thickness than iPad 4.
The new device will arrive ¼ thinner than the iPad 4 – the Wi-Fi edition. The tablet is a little slighter than the iPad mini as well. Something well noticeable from the images is that both tablets have matching corners and edges. This is a very interesting decision of Apple, if rumors turn out to be true, of course.
So far the sources of NWE have proven to be right in the past, therefore we have good reasons to believe that the images are, in fact the schematic plans for iPad 5. The tablet will sport a sleek body 7.9 mm in thickness, 232 mm long and 178.5 mm wide. We are not certain yet whether the pointed measurements include or don’t include the screen.
The real measurements of the device might diverse with some millimeters than the mentioned above, because of the added to the panel millimeters after the attaching of the display glass to the device. In this case, the iPad 5 will arrive with the same thickness as the small tablet iPad mini.
The expected launch date of Apple iPad 5 is in the fall, sometime between the middle of September and October. It is a tradition for Apple to release the new model tablets around this time of the year. The fall is promising to be eventful with the expected introduction of the iPod touch devices by the company, the official release of iOS 7 and all the other surprises that Apple is planning for its fans.
