Huawei is working on the concept for Ascend P6 Google Edition
Huawei is not hiding its ambitions to compete with the biggest rivals Samsung, HTC and Apple. Now the company has announced its plans to release a special handset Ascend P6 Google Edition, just like the other two manufacturers with their Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Editions.
The news came from an interview that the director of the company recently gave, saying that Huawei is negotiating with the company Maintain View to develop and release Ascend P6 Google Edition. The new handset will run on stock Android, like Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Editions. The concept for the smartphone comes as part of the strategy of the Chinese manufacturer to strengthen and expand its positions on the global market and to compete with Apple and Samsung. Huawei recently launched two successful devices – Ascend Mate and Ascend P6.
According to the latest information from the company, the concept or Ascend P6 Google Edition presents a very thin device with body, resembling the body of the Ascend P6 with a premium build. It will be only 6.18 thin. The handset will work with the Emotion user interface which we have seen and liked in Ascend mate. A lot of users who have already tried the Emotion UI of Huawei find it very innovative, user-friendly and pleasant to work with. One of the possibilities that the user interface assures is to hide or show the on-screen navigational buttons bar from any app you want.
The new Huawei Ascend P6 Google Edition device seems to have the full potential to become successful. There are still no further details about the concept of the phone and the expected launch date. The Chinese manufacturer seems flexible to follow the trends on the mobile world and to adapt quickly to meet the demands of users. What do you think about the concept for the new device?
