New appearance and new features for the Apple App Store app
We wrote a lot about the new features and the new look of iOS 7. Now is the time to say something about the innovations in the App Store app of Apple that arrive with the platform. The iOS 7 users will be happy to hear that the long anticipated option for automatic updates is finally available and working well in the new platform. Users of the rival platform – Android are enjoying this feature for a long time now, since the update to Android 2.2. Apple’s fans have expressed their demands to have this option in the platform and iOS 7 arrives to meet their expectations.
The way the new feature works includes looking in the background for automatically install updates. After the files for updates are found, the user will decide whether to allow them to be downloaded through a cellular network or to choose another option and install them manually. The most recent install updates are located in the tab “Updates” at the app. One interesting option that you will find here is the links to the purchased by you content from the App Store that enables you to download again apps that you have installed on another device that runs on iOS.
Another improvement in the App Store app is the Genious tab, which now is called Near Me and includes the most used apps by other users of iOS that are located near you. You have the possibility to create a Wish List with the apps you like. This option is available for the paid apps only. One of the upcoming features in the Apple App Store app is a special category purposed for the youngest users – Kids category.
The whole appearance of Apple App Store is refurbished, including the Store Top Charts. It is more convenient with vertically scrolling list, from left to right.
