Bosch 909 Dual S was a model from 1999. It has a top design for its class and time period. It employs an elegant matte-black plastic body and has a nice blue lighting on the screen. Despite it has metal buttons, the body is light- just 109 grams. It measures 122 x 50 x 17 mm. The antenna is not telescoping, but it is positioned at an angle preventing the radio waves to come straight to your head. The standard battery is 650 mAh that lasts up to 30-40 hours of moderate usage (90 minutes talks and 30 received SMS). You can also buy and use batteries with capacities of 400, 650, 750 and 1800 mAh. The battery covers the SIM card and can be easily replaced. If the battery is running out of charge, a sound will be played and the indicator next the antenna will blink. Bosch 909 Dual S has a monochrome graphic screen with blue lighting. When you start the phone, a welcome message and the Bosch logo will be displayed. However, you can easily change them through the settings menu. The screen has a very good contrast and the information can be read from different angles and lighting conditions. As we mentioned, the buttons beneath the screen are made of metal and has perfect sizes, suitable for people with big hands.
