Samsung Galaxy S4 – first ‘live’ photos
In one of the Chinese forums leaked the ‘live’ photos of the new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S4. The device is with manufacturing name GT-I9502 – the dual SIM version of the smartphone for the network of the Chinese operator China Unicom – the world’s largest carrier. The device on the pictures is with the same design as the original handset.
In fact, these pictures don’t seem fake. Remember that last year Samsung managed to hide the design of its new flagship till its official unveiling by producing the devices for developers with different chasses. It will be no surprise if this happens again this year.
As you can see, the device resembles Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note II in design (especially the rear side), and the large display has a thin frame around the edges. If you examine the screenshots, you will see that some of them confirm the previous information we got about the features of the device.
Remember that, according to the latest leaks, Samsung Galaxy S4 will employ an octacore processor Exynoss Octa 5410 clocked at 1.8GHz, PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU and 2GB RAM. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a 5’’ (4.99’’ in fact) display with 1920×1080 Full HD resolution with more natural colours. The display will be 25% more ‘green’ because it will be sporting the Green PHOLED technology.
Samsung Galaxy S4 will get Android 4.2.1 for its release and upgrade to 4.2.2 till the end of the same month. The 13MP flagship will also have the function Samsung ORB (the ability to capture a 360 degrees panorama) and the interface will be optimized and turned into TouchWiz Nature UX.
The Smart functions are also something innovative that we will see in the device. Of course, one of the most exciting things we will see is the floating touch. Keep up with us for more Samsung Galaxy S4 news and coverage of the special press event on May 14 in New York when the handset will be unveiled.
