Over 9 million sells of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C for the first week, Apple reveals
Apple has just revealed the first sells numbers of the first week after the launching of the flagships iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The good news for the mobile giant is that the sells have exceeded the expectations for 9 million sold units for the first seven days. The last year’s flagship reached the modest 5 millions within the first week. Great news that Apple announced is that now more than 200 million smartphones and tablets are working with the newest upgrade iOS 7.
Do you remember the rumors that the new models iPhone will have low stock at the stores? Apple has commented that because of the “incredible demand” by customers for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, there might be users that could not find the devices on stock in the local shops. In order to avoid future inconvenience of this sort, Apple is offering the service Personal Pickup for both iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
How it works in real? If you want to buy any of the new models from the online store of Apple, you need to choose the device you like and then select the option “Check Availability.” You will get immediately information about where in the local stores the wanted device is in stock. The next step is to order the iPhone and then go and get it from the certain place. The service is pretty fast and promises to get your newly purchased device ready for an hour after you have placed the order.
This weekend was definitely good for Apple after the success in the sells of the new devices and the rolling-out of iOS 7. The company has not revealed more details about the numbers. For example, we are curious to know the present of the iPhone 5C sells compared to the iPhone 5S’. What do you think? Which device is selling better?
