A leak from user’s manual surfaced on the internet revealing the existence of SHV-400EK, or with other words – Samsung Galaxy Golden.
This new flip phone model by the company will boast 3.75-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 480x800p. The user’s manual consists of the specs of the device; therefore we can share with you that it will work with quad-core processor, clocked at 1.7GHz with Snapdragon 400 chip. Galaxy Golden will boast 2GB RAM. It will support the main connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and LTE network. The new phone will be powered by a 1,820mAh battery. This innovative flip phone will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Galaxy Golden will be armored with two cameras. It will sport a sleek compact body that could fit easily to small pockets and purses.
It is not certain what the final name of the device will be – Samsung Galaxy Golden or Samsung Galaxy Folder. The device will join the mobile world via the Korean market for the carriers SKT and KT later this month. The next country that will get Galaxy Golden will be probably China, at the mobile operator China Mobile. There is still not information whether the Korean giant is planning to release the new device internationally.
Why is it such a surprise to see a flip phone by one of the biggest manufacturers? The dual-screen technology does not allow touchscreen displays. Those of you who miss the good old times will love the retro styled modern device that provides a decent package of features.
