Samsung announced another Galaxy Grand member- the Galaxy Grand Lite
Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite will arrive sometime before the MWC showcase
Believe it or not, SamMobile has just confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite will be soon announced at MWC. First, we have the original Samsung Galaxy Grand with its 5-inch display and another version of the same handset with an LTE support for South Korea. Secord, only 4 days ago we announced that Samsung is moving into its next Grand model- the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. Besides the specs of the upcoming smartphone, there is still no word for its pricing or availability.
I hope you’re following that, because today, only 4 days after Samsung announced their latest Grand family member, it appears that another one is coming in a couple of months. Titled Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite (GT- I9060), the device will be sandwitched between the other two devices and will be showcased in late February at the MWC.
Similar to its older sibling Galaxy Grand, the upcoming Galaxy Grand Lite handset will be a 5-incher with a WVGA screen and will operate with a quad-core CPU coated at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. As for the storage, it has 8GB integrated space as well as a microSD cart slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. In terms of battery, the device will feature one of 2100mAh. As for the camera, it’s expected to be 5-megapixel rear and standard VGA front-facing one. Moreover, the phone will run Android 4.2, but that is temporary as when the product comes out it will most likely have an updated Android 4.3. . An LTE network support hasn’t been specified yet, however we can be optimistic, following the example of the first model. Either way, the handset will have a dual SiM support. As you can see, the specs are somewhere between the original Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy Grand 2.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite will arrive in white, midnight black, lime green and orange sometime before the MWC showcase. Stay tuned for more news.
