Golden HTC One on the horizon
HTC seems to be enriching its flagship lately with nice palette of colors, including the classic silver and black and the new red and blue. The new color variants are well accepted by the audience. Do you think that HTC can add more shades to the palette? Believe it or not, but HTC One will soon be “dressed” in nice golden-colored shell. The rumors came from the Sina Weibo site where several pictures were recently poster.
What we can see on the photos is the golden panel of HTC One. The user that has posted the photos is the same that shared the images of the Blue HTC One awhile ago. The depicted front panel of the handset is marked with some handwritten labels. According to the source, those markings are made to make the assembling of the device easier with fast matching of the parts. Another interesting sign on the shell is the marking “2013/08/12,” signed on the back panel. We can only make guessing that this part was manufactured at the pointed date. It seems that HTC has been working on the golden version for some time now.
The idea of adding multiple color options for the flagships is not something new for HTC. The company has enriched its star-devices with variety of shades in the past. Keeping in mind the new trend started by Apple with its colorful iPhone 5C and the variety of colors for iPhone 5S, it will not be that surprising if HTC adds a golden HTC One. As expected, the company has not confirmed or denied the existence of the new variant. Not word has been spread about the announcement and the availability of the model. Will it be a limited edition or it will be available for the vast audience? Will it be distributed internationally? We are dieing to know. What about you?
