Samsung Galaxy S4 passes features to Samsung Galaxy S3
Hey, guys, did you see the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S4? If you did, you know that the device is fabulous and unbeatable. It has a number of new and unique features that no other flagship device in the world can beat. However, a great part of what we heard at the special event of Samsung was not a surprise, since it has been revealed through numerous leaks and rumours during the whole last week of keeping Samsung Galaxy S4 in secret.
Now the big question is will Samsung bring some of the features of Samsung Galaxy S4 to Samsung Galaxy S3? The answer is yes – the owners of the device of the year (according to the award of GSMA) received a promise from Samsung that they will get as many new features as possible in the following months.
Of course, some of the features won’t be possible – Samsung Galaxy S4 has a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, an infrared gestures sensor, special hardware for the floating touch and the Air gestures and all these things just can’t run on Samsung Galaxy S3 – its hardware is not compatible.
On the other hand, there are features that may well be provided. For example, what the Smart functions need to function is a front camera and the special software. In fact, earlier this month we saw the Smart features run on a Samsung Galaxy S3 flashed with a leaked Android 4.2. Another possible options for retrofitting of functions are the S Translator and the S Drive – two surely useful and necessary features.
Whatever, this is an unofficial information and Samsung may have absolutely different plans for this addition of functions to Samsung Galaxy S4. We can only sit and wait for official news and for the release of the unique flagship of the Korean company.
